Several 8700k Builds

Along with the amazing and beautiful Threadripper build, I had a client ask for a couple of machines based on the Intel 8700k CPU. All sported 16-32 gigs of ram, and combinations of WD Blue drives and WD Black 7200 rpm drives for storage. All came equipped with EVGA Platinum PSUs, CoolerMaster cases, Asus TUF Motherboards and some Nvidia based graphics. Every 8700k machine is cooler by baller Noctua U12S CPU coolers.

Check out the phots of the builds below, along with links to my 3D-Mark page that features benchmarks for all of the listed machines.

All that space

So after I got everything unpacked I opened up the box containing my ancient Cooler Master Stacker case. Sure, its a little worse for wear, the wheels have all popped off but, the magnificent space this case provides is still here and ready to become the home for my new NAS storage. I had originally planned to use this as the base to revive my old school DFI board and 64fx chip, but I think I will find another case for that particular project. Should I prime and paint this beast, or just leave it like it is?

Originally this monster housed a normal old Phenom II and a GTX 460. Oh have times changed for case aesthetics.

New Hardware Migration

Finally ended up consolidating some hardware I had spread out.  Moved my RX580 into my Ryzen 1700 box, tidied up the cables and got everything stable on it.  Nice and quiet in my CoolerMaster Master Case 5.  Man I love this case!  Seriously though, you can look down into the case from the mesh in the top which is pretty spiffy.  Unlike a lot of current cases it has a full mesh front, and can even support 3 120mm fans up there.  I have a third I want to throw in there (it comes with two out of the box)  Maybe I will get fancy and throw some RGB fans in there, everyone knows they cool better.
